Great value for money - perfect for us. The hotel is centrally located, just a short walk from the main shopping area and the train station. The staff were friendly and provided us with helpful information about the city. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide range of delicious options including cooked eggs, ham, cheeses, and pastries.
Nothing could stop us from returning or recommending this hotel.

A very friendly welcome. Keen to inform us of events happening that weekend. Very accomodating. Breakfast excellent.
We were on the top floor and had to negotiate 67 steps with an 82 year old lady. We were not aware that there were no lifts in this building as we would not have chosen it. However, they did do everytinig to help by carrying bags and bringing us tea.

I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel, it has excellent value for the money paid. Stuff was very nice and helpful, room rather big, breakfast plentiful. Location is excellent, a couple of meters from Neumarkt but on a quiet street.
Not really a complain but an important detail, the hotel has no elevator and the staircase is very steep (nothing for older people or persons with knee problems).

Hotel staff was excellent, room was very clean - the bed sheets always smelled fresh so I knew I was sleeping in clean fresh sheets. Breakfast was great - croissants were very fresh, choice of juice, water, coffee was excellent. Bathroom was also very clean.
I stayed in a single occupancy room so I found it extremely small - better to go for a double occupancy room (looked bigger in pictures)

This hotel is located at the heart of the city, making it an excellent base for exploring the sights and sounds of the town. the river is just a short walk away, and there's a nearby underground train station within a couple of minutes on foot. the rooms are spacious, with beautiful large windows for natural light. the bed and bathroom facilities are comfortable, and the staff provides excellent service. the buffet breakfast is one of the nicest around, with a variety of eggs, bacon, salmon, bread, juice.
One aspect worth noting is the noise; at times, street noise may bother light sleepers.

Friendly and cooperative personnel. The rooms are clean, bed in a good condition. Public transport really close by also possible to just walk to City centre. Breakfast cheap but tasty with a lot of choice. Bar downstairs in the hotel.
I think there is a dancing somewhere in the neighbourhood. We heard some dimmed music, but it was quiet enough to fall in sleep without any problem.

(Although staying Berlin, I am from Sydney, Australia) location is about 100 metres from the Neumarkt u exit - 2 stops from the Hbh. Breakfast and wi-fi - included in price were very good. Price was really good value. Would certainly stay there again, and would highly recommend to friends and other travellers. The provision of a security key for the night entrance was very handy.
Although there were drinks in the mini fridge, tea making facilities in the room, for a small extra charge even, would have been appreciated.

This small hotel was perfect for our romantic escape. the room was bright and comfortable, and we loved the fact that it had windows at the front and back, providing plenty of natural light. the location was excellent, with easy access to public transport and several restaurants within walking distance. We enjoyed the tasty breakfast provided every morning, which gave us a great start to our day. the staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcome.
The noise from nearby bars and restaurants at night, which made it difficult for us to fall asleep peacefully. this was understandable given the hotel's central location, and we were able to get earplugs from the front desk to help drown out the noise.

I stayed here for DRUPA exhibition. A small but very friendly hotel! A breakfast was good. There is a good authentic bar in next building. This hotel is located 15 minute walk to HBf but you can use U bahn (50 m from hotel, 1 stop to Koln Hbf), so very convenient! I recommend it.

Hotel is nice situated, friendly management, very good breakfast, everything is clean
But would be nice to change the carpet as it smells after the people who smoked. Anyway if you open the window it goes out.

The staff was friendly and helpful during my stay. Also, the hotel had free Wi-Fi and a complimentary breakfast which helped save me some money. The location of the hotel was fairly central, which allowed me to easily access public transportation and explore the surrounding area.
The hotel room was noisy and not soundproof. Additionally, there were several issues with the room that were not addressed before check-in. The bathroom facilities were outdated and in need of repair. The shower was also faulty and the water pressure was too low. I would not recommend this hotel for a business trip as it did not meet my expectations for comfort and amenities.

Hotel Staff was very friendly and helpful. Suggestions on everything from what to see (with local maps) to where to park (cheap!) were offered. On-site restaurant served delicious meals in a quiet and comfortable setting. Breakfast buffet and service quite good. Room was clean and comfortable with amenities on par with a good three-star hotel.

The breakfast had a good variety and the staff were very friendly.
No lift and walking up four flights of stairs every time you want to go to your room can become tiresome. The room was small as well.
